TOBACCO LEAF & AMBER

In our Tobacco Leaf & Amber shave soap, you will quickly notice the aroma of freshly-cured tobacco leaves mingled with just the right undertones of amber and vanilla making this shaving soap a favorite of many.  Upon request, Tobacco Leaf & Amber is now available in our tallow formula.

Note: Because this fragrance contains vanilla, this soap may darken anywhere from tan to brown. This is due to oxidation of the vanilla from air and water.  The discoloration will have no effect on the scent or performance. 

(This is a tallow-based shaving soap using only premium quality ingredients. Some of our ingredient superstars include shea butter, kokum butter, glycerin, and lanolin. The tallow we use is of unsurpassed quality using only the kidney fat, and we are committed to only using 100% organic raised and certified organic grass-fed beef, free from antibiotics, synthetic hormones, GMO feed, or pesticide exposure.)

    As others have stated, this really has a fantastic tobacco scent – the best I've ever tried. I was able to easily whip up a nice, thick, creamy lather too (face lathering with a badger brush). This was my first C & C soap, and I was so impressed that I quickly bought two more: Ipanema and Carnival. Both of those have incredible scents as well – very unique and hard to describe, but both fantastic. Crown & Crane has quickly moved up to be one of my top shave soap companies I've tried.

    I have 11 C&C shave soaps. They are all top performers, however this Tobacco Leaf and Amber is by far my favorite soap scent. The C&C North Woods is a close second. You can’t go wrong with any of the tallow soaps from C&C.

    It smells good enough to eat.

    I first received a sample of TLA last year and the packaging immediately reminded me of something from a bakery. As soon as I opened the wrapper I loved what I smelled. This soap also lathers very easily and it's very slick. I always have a good shave with Crowne and Crane soaps. I find that I prefer to use my Semogue 830 boar brush with C&C soaps. Tobacco Leaf and Amber is my favorite scent so far.

    This is easily one of my favorite soaps. The quality of the soap is simply amazing. It’s incredibly slick and very easy to quickly brush into a wonderful cushiony lather. The post-shave experience is great, and then there is the scent. It’s a very nice masculine scent that is very classic. Another great soap by an outstanding artisan. Two thumbs up!

    Very impressed with this soap. The scent is right up there in my top 3 scents off all time. The Tobacco, Vanilla and Amber tie in so well. This is one of those scents you just keep going back to smell. TLA gives a great easy lather, it is a thirsty soap but it's right up there with the other top artisans in performance. It's a must have in my book and btw the balm is just as great.

    This soap has a light but masculine scent and is a great strength while in use. It is a thirsty soap, and my lather dried out a bit initially. After adding some more water I got more volume and that nice shine. Will definitely be back for more!

    Great Tobacco Soap

    This was my first purchase of Crowne and Crane. I was super impressed. First, it is a terrific tobacco scented soap with just the right amount of amber and vanilla........not too strong, not too mild, and not too sweet. Second, the performance was superb at all levels. Third, it was a real joy to use. Will be purchasing more. Keep up the good work, Karl and Liz.
