KINGSMEN

Smell Like a Proper English Gentelmen

Now that the colder months approach, warm aromas are welcome. This shaving soap smells like a distinguished English gentleman who has just stepped out of a fine haberdashery on Jermyn Street into the chilly London fog.  Impeccably suited, yet a man with a touch of mystery and intrigue surrounding him.  This soap won't give you an MI-6 license to kill, but it will make you smell like someone who who does.    It should pair  well with a certain well known English Sandalwood aftershave that shares a very similar scent profile.   The most prominant top notes are bergamot, lemon, orange, with middle notes of coriander and frankincense, and base notes of myrrh, sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla.

Ingredients: Potassium Tallowate, Sodium Tallowate, Potassium Stearate, Sodium Stearate, Aloe Vera Juice, Potassium Cocoate, Sodium Cocoate, Fragrance, Potassium Shea Butterate, Sodium Shea Butterate, Sodium Lactate, Glycerin, Tussah Silk

Available in 4 oz. jars, 3 oz pucks and 1 oz. samples

    One Word - WOW!

I am so pleased that I took a shot on Crowne & Crane. Decided to purchase a couple of shaving soaps to try, including Kingsmen, and I’m thrilled with the results. This is one of the easiest to lather, and slickest soaps, I have ever used. Not to be overly effusive, but this soap made for an incredibly satisfying shave. And as for the fragrance - perfectly classy with lovely notes of coriander and sandalwood. Just an all-around performer.

Kingsman - A sharp dressed man image comes to mind

C&C states this would pair well with a certain English Sandalwood AS and cant comment if it will or not as I don't own any Sandalwood AS but this is outstanding stuff. IMO a nice cologne scent that I could see an English businessman or MI6 agent wearing this. Strong scent upon opening the jar and doesnt waiver while you lather up. Eight second load and transfer to bowl was enough for 3 passes but I only needed two. Nice and slick and my razor glides over my face and neck. Final rinse off leaves a nick super smooth slick feel on your face and the aroma still lingers after rinse off. Overall performance is top notch with this soap, as is the aftershave and maybe someday a Kingsmen splash will follow.
